I am pleased to announce the addition of Larry Gentile to Coastal Carolina Private Investigative Services. Larry brings with him an extensive background in both Law Enforcement and Security Operations and Management. His resume is quite impressive and he stands ready to be your advocate in both civil and criminal investigation.
Larry began his law enforcement career with the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department in 1971 where he stayed until he retired in 1996. During that time he acquired extensive experience in Crime Scene Investigation, Patrol Techniques, Fraud Investigations, Intelligence, Missing Persons and Juvenile Sex Crimes. Larry also taught countless students that passed through the Charlotte Mecklenburg Basic Law Enforcement Academy.
In addition to 25 years serving as a Law Enforcement Officer he served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Larry also has an Associates Degree in Police Science from Central Piedmont Community College. He has extensive knowledge in Private and Contract Security, having been a licensed Security Manager by the North Carolina Private Protective Security Board. Plus, Larry also held a Guard and Patrol License with NCPPSB.   He also attended the following schools:
